Knowledge Frontier

In the modern high velocity, complex, variable world subject to frequent exogenous shocks, we are no longer in a Newtonian environment where A causes B with some degree of reliability. We have moved beyond the Knowledge Frontier where we can know things with great certainty.

It is as if we now have only a medieval map where the boundaries are marked Here Be Monsters!

There are tools that can be used to change this. One, among the many used by Decision Clarity Consulting, is a modified form of the Schrello screen, referred to as the Proposition Pyramid.
